Soundproof Booth in Creative Media Zone Studio

To provide an environment undisturbed by external noise for DIY video recording, audio mixing, and live broadcasting, MTPC has installed a soundproof booth in the Creative Media Zone Studio, located in the Learning Commons in HKUST Library. The booth is equipped with a complete set of hardware and software for producing digital media content. It offers the ideal setting for instructors to create their course videos, and students to work on their multimedia assignments. Simply contact creative.media@ust.hk to book a time slot to try the booth and equipment to create your own media content.

 

Movable LED Display

To pilot the use of LED display for presentations and event backdrops, MTPC has recently rolled out a movable LED and related video production services for events held in Lecture Theaters A to E. 

The movable LED creates the opportunity for high-quality display for presentations in a fully lit environment. In addition, it supports tele-conferencing engagement by showing audience members at remote sites, for example, through Zoom’s Gallery View. 

When used as a backdrop, the movable LED supports dynamic content. It also saves materials and setup costs, providing an environmentally friendly and smart alternative to conventional backdrops. 

The display and service can be deployed in the Atrium and other campus locations if needed. To book the service, please contact MTPC's media production team.
