Now you can turn campus indoor locations and facilities into videos for 24x7 online visits via MTPC’s VR Walk-through services, based on Matterport’s 3D virtual tour platform.
The 3D video tours deliver an immersive way to highlight the University’s learning spaces, cutting-edge research facilities, sports halls, exhibition venues, and more. Mattertag Posts can be used to pinpoint key features or add descriptions to items encountered during the tour.

Campus 360 and HKUST Street View
Find your way around campus or introduce the scenic sights of HKUST to others through MTPC’s latest online initiatives to map the University. Take a virtual tour with Campus 360, designed, developed, and hosted by MTPC to showcase outdoor locations, buildings, and scenic spots at HKUST. The tour also supports Google Cardboard, a handheld device to power the virtual reality experience through a smartphone.
You can also walk around campus via HKUST Google Street View created in collaboration with Google Hong Kong.
