Celebrating the 30th anniversary of HKUST, MTPC has produced a photo book to showcase the beauty of the HKUST campus. The book contains a curated selection of high-quality photo prints that can be easily updated with new images. Each photo print can be detached from the book, framed, and displayed in offices, lobbies, and hallways as decorations.

With an option of a dark blue or light grey hard cover, this photo book also features the latest graphic techniques in Printshop to create special printing and 3D-finishing effects. Images and drawings in this book can also be repurposed for other publications and publicity material upon request. Custom content such as group portraits and text can be added to this photo book for printing on-demand in small quantities within several days. Enhancement of MTPC Drupal Builder

MTPC has continuously enhanced the functionality of its Drupal Templates based on user requirements and feedback to attract wider adoption and minimize outsourcing production costs. Recently, a number of new features and functions have been added, including dynamic animation effect for banners and images for front-page and content; enhanced responsive function for sitemap; better UI for easy administration; a web form that supports flexible page layout and typography; and synchronization of the University Event Calendar and News. MTPC is also currently upgrading the MTPC Drupal templates to version 9 to comply with the University’s latest cybersecurity requirement.

New Equipment for Loan in CMZ

With the resumption of face-to-face classes in autumn 2022, CMZ’s equipment loan service will be offering many new devices for students and staff to create multimedia content for assignments and projects. They include cameras for both still photos and video shooting, wireless microphones, Insta360, action camera, stabilizer, audio recorder and other accessories. Equipment are available on a first come, first served basis. A full list of equipment can be found on the CMZ website.
